A user may be required to reverse a sale due to a wrong entry or for various reasons. A sale reversal can only be done by a facility administrator account. The sale reversal button is hidden when the sale doesn't meet the conditions for a reversal.
Conditions:
The user accessing the functionality should possess an admin role
The sale transaction is within the billing cycle
The sale must also be within the same billing period, the sales month, plus a 3-day grace period.

To reverse a sale, kindly follow the steps below:
Once logged in, select the 'Sales History' module from the home page. The sales history module can also be selected from the left sidebar icons, and it's the third icon from the top. (Fig 1)

Once the date is selected and the results are displayed, click on the particular line item you wish to reverse, and widows will open, displaying the transaction on your right.
A dialogue box is displayed asking you to confirm the reversal. Do note that it cannot be undone once the reversal is done.
Once you click confirm, the sale page takes you back to the sales history, where the sale is no longer visible.
